Our impact so far
Kiwis in Climate has grown to over 300 members across 15+ countries. We've hosted global meetups, connected jobseekers to opportunities, and influenced Aotearoa’s climate policy debate.
Since 2021 our members have written open letters, made written and oral submissions to the New Zealand government, published op-eds and activated in response to a range of troubling decisions by politicians and corporations. Our mahi is initiated by members, and guided by robust review by the membership and convenors before publishing.

What's next
The KiC community provides an umbrella and opportunity for individuals to present a collective voice on key issues and policies. We’re continuously building a more connected, active and visible network. In 2026 the Kiwis in Climate book will launch to showcase solutions and foster climate solutions in an election year.
