For Matariki, 30+ members, friends and allies got together in Tāmaki Makaurau for KiC Auckland’s first ever panel event, an electric kōrero. By Bryce Groves
Two days before Matariki, 30+ members, friends and allies got together in Tāmaki Makaurau for KiC Auckland’s first ever panel event, an electric kōrero.
The title could not have been more prophetic. Fuelled by mulled wine and hot chocolate, discussions around electrification and Aotearoa’s climate future fizzed energetically between our panelists and audience, in a passionate and evidence-packed evening.
A huge thanks to Sustainable Business Network for hosting, and to our panellists Jay Salzke, Ecosystem Lead of Rewiring Aotearoa, Simon Harvey, Specialist Sustainability Services Advisor Tonkin + Taylor, and Kristin Gillies, Director at ForPurpose & Board Member at SEANZ.

For those outside Auckland or who couldn’t make it, you can catch up on the kōrero in two ways. Check out Simon Harvey’s excellent roundup of the evening on Linkedin, or, have a listen to the audio recording of the evening.
